7.4.1.1 measuring plate
The ISO 16409 contain the test of the passable hole diameter, the durability of the filaments in the stam and the test of the pull-out force of stem in the handle. The measuring plate is made of stainless steel with a thickness of (2.0 ± 0.1) mm. The measuring plate has a total of 30 holes with no sharp edges with a diameter of 0.6 mm up to 3.5 mm in increments of 0.1 mm. The Tolerances on hole diameter equal to ± 0.02 mm. The measuring plate can be clamped in a tensile testing machine supplied with a clip to hold the brush for the pull-out force measurement.

In this variant, the hole with the test specimen is aligned in the xy direction to the measuring device during the tensile test. Only a rough alignment is necessary before the test.
